Our Church Leaders
Prophet Yosef Yifru
Prophet Yosef draws truth from the scriptures, embodying Jesus Christ from the New Testament as a leader of CJC. Like the biblical prophets, he believes in the transformative power of faith and strives to turn hearts back to a deeper connection with God. Prophet Yosef started his ministry based on the promises of God in Exodus 34:10 “And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” Prophet Yosef often references passages such as Romans 12:2; encouraging believers to diligently work on their salvation and transformation of mind symbolizing strength and renewal found in unwavering faith. In weaving these timeless truths into his sermons, Prophet Yosef connects the wisdom of the scriptures with the challenges and joys of human existence.
Minister Emanuel Gebreyesus
Minister Emanuel is a dedicated minister whose life echoes the transformative journey of faith in Jesus Christ. Rooted in the teachings of Christ, Emanuel exemplifies the love and compassion found in John 13:34-35, teaching believers to love one another as a testament to their discipleship. His journey in faith was birthed with a word from Psalm 32:8; ”I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.“ Minister Emanuel is a guiding light, leading others on a path of righteousness and spiritual revelation with emphasis on the importance of seeking divine instruction and allowing God's counsel to shape one's choices. He leads the English services at CJC with a heart devoted to spreading the Gospel according to biblical wisdom, revelation and teachings of Christ in every aspect of life.
